Meghmani Foundation is contributing ₹1 Crore towards the Centralised Kitchen being established by The Akshaya Patra Foundation at Vagusana Village, District Bharuch.
The Bhoomi Poojan ceremony was held on August 27, 2026, and was attended by Director Shri Anandbhai Patel, Foundation President Shri Maganbhai Hania and other representatives of Meghmani.
The Centralised Kitchen model enables procurement, storage, preparation, quality control and dispatch of meals through a single, professionally managed facility. Semi-automated systems, standardised processes, hygiene protocols and quality controls enable large-scale preparation and timely delivery of nutritious meals to multiple schools. Such kitchens can typically prepare meals for thousands of children every day, creating economies of scale while maintaining consistency, food safety and nutritional standards.
This initiative represents an important extension of Meghmani Foundation’s CSR commitment towards Education & Health. This facility will create a meaningful convergence of Nutrition + Health + Education, for children of Dahej, Vagra & nereby Villages. Children will receive a wholesome meal & attend school regularly. It also demonstrates Meghmani Foundation’s commitment to creating measurable and sustainable social impact in the communities in which it operates.
